What is the ‘Japan Venture Award’?
The Japan Venture Awards (https://j-venture.smrj.go.jp/) is a commendation system established by the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency, an incorporated administrative agency, to recognize the achievements of ambitious venture company managers who are engaged in innovative businesses with high growth potential or businesses that contribute to solving social issues. Since 2000, many venture company managers have received this award and have grown into leaders who support Japan along with their respective businesses. The purpose of the award is to widely introduce entrepreneurs who boldly take on the challenge of becoming Japan’s next leaders as role models, thereby raising the spirit of entrepreneurship and promoting the establishment of new businesses in Japan.
Comment from Representative Director Masaru Nakamichi
“I am deeply honored to have received the JVCA Special Encouragement Award at the Japan Venture Awards. I believe that being recognized for our future growth potential is thanks to the daily support of all our stakeholders, including employees, shareholders, and business partners.
Furthermore, I believe that receiving this award for the first time as a venture company in the field of fusion energy at the Japan Venture Awards reflects the growing public interest and awareness of the issues surrounding fusion energy.
Moving forward, we will continue to dedicate ourselves to our business, including the development of BETA (Beryllium Testing plant in Aomori), our pilot plant, to contribute to the social implementation of fusion energy through the stable supply of beryllium, which is our company’s goal.”
